Phone number enquiry

I used to have a Vodafone contract and that number had the security code to my banking, the phone number has been deactivated for a few years, it’s not currently assigned to anyone as it says I’ve dialed an incorrect number when I call it, is there any way to get that phone number on either a new contract or payg?

There are some previous threads asking the same question, if you ask this question in the forum search facility these will come up @Hatch97 .

As you will be able to find you won't be able to get the number back, it's long gone, after three years it would have been released and reissued and could be just about anywhere including having been ported out to another network.  If it had been just under three months there might have been a chance but not a few years.
