Phone shows as a "loan" in my credit file

Hi there. I have filled a trigger and upgraded to a new iPhone. I've been with Vodafone several years already but for the first time phone shows as a loan in my credit file. This is very disappointing as  my credit file dropped - if I was aware about the change I would have buy sim only and buy device for cash. Can this be removed for my credit file?

That’s normally what happens your taking credit out that normally improves your credit rating

The exact same has happened to me! I’ve always had phone contracts for over 10 years and for the first time with these stupid EVO rubbish it’s now come up as two separate contracts, one of which listed as an unsecured loan! Now my credit score has dropped by 160 because of this! I know it said it would be two separate direct debits (which in itself I think is ridiculous) but this is now the cherry on top of the cake. If something isn’t broke then don’t fix it!!!!
