Good morning
I went into my local Vodafone shop on the 14th December to talk about my refund of £44.85 after my contract ended and said will be refunded into my account and I still haven’t received it

As line rental is paid in advance and you have already paid for the final month, the credit will be on the following months bill (January). Providing you have not cancelled the direct debit this will be paid directly into the bank account used to make payments.

I was advised by the manager of the local Vodafone shop that it was fine that I had cancelled my direct debit as we owe you not you owe us

IT is advised by Vodafone not to cancel the direct debit until the final bill with a 0.00 balance has been received, the store manager should have been more than aware of the procedure. If you have cancelled the direct debit, it leaves Vodafone without any account to repay the credit.
