Had phone call from vodaphone Monday evening offering me a sim deal over the phone.  The number was 01709242673.  Is this a genuine call from vodaphone?

Hi Phollin,

It appears that the number is genuinely Vodafone, I would imagine since it's not an 03/08 number it's coming from one of their outsource partners.

You can check any numbers that call you that claim to be from Vodafone at https://www.vodafone.co.uk/isvodafonecalling/

I'd never buy anything from someone that cold called me, get some details, call back on a known number if you're interested.
