I'm currently on a Vodafone phone contract, paying £35 (£25 effectively after Spotify subscription and a 20% discount). However, I feel there might be better SIM-only deals out there.
My phone is personally owned, and the £25 cost is purely for the SIM. The current plan includes 20 GB data, unlimited minutes and texts, roaming in 83 countries, 500 free minutes to the EU, 5G, and wifi calling. While the plan is a legacy one no longer offered by Vodafone, I'm particularly keen on keeping the roaming feature for travel and connectivity purposes.
Considering new, more cost-effective carriers like Lyca, Lebara, VOXI, etc., I'm seeking recommendations on the most reliable option for service and roaming. Maintaining strong connectivity, especially for security reasons to access banking while abroad, is a priority for me.
