Speed of London Underground station Wifi

Travelling regularly on the tube, have people noticed the dire speed of the station Wifi at the moment?   It has been completely unusable the past few weeks, even at non-busy stations. No web browsing, no Instagram, I even tried to download an album of songs but it timed out.  Are the speeds being throttled?

Exactly the same for me, completely as you describe. It connects but speeds are so so slow everywhere. I’m on iOS 17 beta so wondered if it was anything to do with that, but yes, totally unusable.

Hi, running the latest version of iOS 16 so it's not dependent on operating system.  The speed is still the same now, no improvement. 

@vodafone - if you are going to provide a service which was previously withdrawn and then re-introduced as people wanted to use it then please provide decent speeds.  At the moment tube wifi is totally unusable.  Thanks.

It was exactly the same for me today, so slow it’s unusable but I can’t believe we’re the only two people with this problem.  

I’ll try to pop into my local Voda store in London and see what they say  Will update this thread if I hear anything.

I went through several stations today and I was back up to hetweeen 30 and 50 mbps. I’ve upgraded to the iOS 17 Gold Master so it could be that but I think more likely Voda/LU or whoever have adjusted some settings.
