Hello. I have been on PAYG for over 20 years on the same number, but I decided to get a new phone and change to Pay Monthly contract and keep my old number, As it was a Friday I was advised that it will not change over until the following Monday (today) but I am not clear on what I need to do as it was not fully explained to me.
I am still using my old sim/number in my old phone, the new sim (with a different number) is in the new iPhone and it is switched on, is that the right thing to do?
Do I need to put my old sim in the new phone or leave the new sim in the new phone and wait for my number to be transferred? As I said, it was not fully explained to me.
I need to transfer everything from my old phone to my new phone, but I am unsure when to do it, I don’t want to transfer it all to the new sim/tel number.
Can someone please advise me what I need to do 🤔

Hi @Ashami, thanks for your post, if you contacted us before 4pm on Friday, we'll get your number moved over to your pay monthly account today. This usually happens between 11am and 5pm, but can take up to midnight, if you contacted us after 4pm on Friday, the change will take place tomorrow. You can keep the new SIM Card in your new phone, once the switch completes you'll lose service on your old phone and you'll get a notification from us on your new phone 🙂
