Transferring number - can someone release me from this hell!

Hi 

I've been trying to transfer number from Voxi PAYG to Vodafone PAYM for over a week. Hours and hours of calls, filling in forms over and over again - still hasn't been done. As it's the same company I thought this would be straightforward, customer service team are just contradicting what the last person told me and can't resolve it.

Surely transferring number can't be this difficul? Appreciate any help, thanks.

" If you wish to use the 'text-to-switch' service, simply send the SMS text PAC to 65075 free from your VOXI SIM to get your VOXI PAC code by text message and begin the porting process.

Alternatively, you can text STAC to 75075 if you want to switch and get a new Vodafone number instead of keeping and transferring your VOXI number. "

The problem here is transferring you number over the Christmas holiday period, numbers don't move over a bank holiday or weekend @pedro_789 

You don't use a PAC, the link in the post above is incorrect, it's the same process as moving from PAYG to contract and as you mention Vodafone is the same company.  To move the number to your new Vodafone contract, start a web chat with Voxi here Voxi web chat .  You can also drop the Social Team a message through social channels here Contact Us 

Being a Sunday, they won't be able to move the number today, but at least this should be completed by the end of tomorrow.

edited to add:  As far as is known, as Voxi is the same company, you continue to use the same SIM card, it will change from Voxi to Vodafone pay monthly.  If your phone supports eSIM as most now do, you will be able to set up an eSIM with Vodafone here eSIM

Hi @pedro_789! I'm sorry there's been a delay in moving your number over from your VOXI account to Vodafone PAYM and I'm sorry for any confusion you've experienced regarding the process. 

@AnnS is correct that you don't need a PAC, however, as this is a Pay Monthly contract and not Pay As You Go, you'll need to set up the new Vodafone contract with Vodafone directly (either through the website, or with an agent), and then you'll need to complete our Keep My Number form here. This is usually processed the following working day (as long as the form is submitted before 4pm), however, with it being the Christmas Period, there can be delays. I hope this helps 🙂
