URGENT: Credit Referencing

I have now been trying to contact Vodafone for 3 months regarding a closed account that still has an outstanding balance on it. Zero contact.

This was a family account and was initially held in my Mother's name before being transferred to my name. The outstanding balance has now been reported on my Mothers Credit File and is wrongly impacting her ability to gain finance. 

I have reported 7 complaints now and still never heard back from anyone. Everytime I phone, they tell me they can't find the account - despite me providing an account number? All I want to do is pay this and remove the mark on the wrong person's file - you think they would be happy to take money?

A really, really useless company who seem to delight in confusing and messing with their customers and this was the reason we moved away from them. Absolutely the worst customer service in the industry, or any industry.

I appreciate how concerning it must be for your mother's account to have flagged an outstanding balance unexpectedly, which has subsequently impacted her credit file. I understand the need for this to be investigated as soon as possible, since you've mentioned having difficulty with us being able to locate and discuss the account. 

Please reach out to us on Social Media, so that we can get to the bottom of this. With that being said, if the account is registered in your mother's name, it would be the account holder who would need to message h us to complete security.
