Unable to receive verification text messages after change of number

Im having problems using my number for text message services, for instance it won’t allow me to setup my online banking using my new number or using 2 step authentication using my gmail. I am not receiving the text messages to set up the service.  I have no problem receiving texts from friends.

 

the issue started when I changed my number using the pac process, number switch absolutely fine but I now have this issue.

 

I’ve spend hours texting back and forth with voda tech support, they’ve unfortunately not been able to help me. I’m going to try them again tomorrow. Has anyone else had this issue? Any advice or direction on who to email would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue these days and I have been going through the exact same process, talking hours with customer service, suggesting me to restart my phone, reset network etc, even changed my sim and nothing.. so practically I have a contract with Vodafone that I pay but not getting part of the service I am paying. And the trouble is really big, as I can't receive important verification codes. I really don't know what else to do..no one was able to help me so far

@remimat - I understand how frustrating this must be and the importance of being able to receive these messages. My team can take a look into this for you and get this escalated if needed. Please reach out to us on Social Media. When you do this if you've got any examples from the last 24 hours, this will help us. 

I am having the exact same problem since my number ported. I can receive and send texts from normal numbers but I am not receiving texts to verify who I am (from Facebook, my bank etc).

 

I have been round the house on live chat, spoke to tech team and rang the helpline last night but none of the suggestions have worked. I would be most grateful for any suggestions!

I cannot sign into my social media accounts because I can't get verification texts to my new phone...
