I have been trying to contact a customer service agent to no avail. When I obtained my new contract less than a year ago there was promise that if Apple release a 5G device within the first year I would be upgraded for free. Please let me know what the next steps are please...

Apparently we are all confused with the early upgrade policy and this deal we were offered which was: As soon Apple release a 5g device you get it for free (trade in) in the 5g promise. It is made clear to me that was the offer.

Yes this is 100% what was said to me also.
have you had any luck, the best I got was £30 and I am really not happy about this.
I will be leaving Vodafone as soon as my contract is up.

I got £100 off of my contract. That was all.

Hi all! As far as I'm aware the Annual Upgrade Promise was previously called the 5G Upgrade Promise, but I'm not able to find anything directly related to a 5G Upgrade at the moment. Here are the terms and conditions of the current Annual Upgrade promise. I hope this helps

Thanks Beth, I think the issue is the Vodafone terms and conditions are different to what was verbally promised by your sales executives at point of order / re-contract. It’s all well and good pointing to these Ts and Cs but that’s not what was sold to us over the phone when placing our orders. It seems a little strange why there is more than one person claiming the same ‘offer’.
Its also frustrating to learn that one person has received a £100 credit when I wasn’t even offers this, just told by your complaints team I was wrong and the ticket was being closed.
Other then the complaints form, is there anywhere else we can go to discuss this?

I’ve always found that an email to the CEO when all options are exhausted can sometimes get you a better outcome.

What is the email address? We’ve all been sold a deal that never came through.

It allowed to post any email addresses on the forum but a quick Google of ‘CEO Email Vodafone Complaint’ will bring it up.

I did, yes.
I was contacted twice by the complaints team and was told there was nothing that could be done.
