I closed my Vodafone account in mid 2020, and have just had notification from the CRA's that Vodafone have reactivated the account.
I havent requested this, although I have asked Vodafone to stop reporting this account as it is closed..
Do I really have to go to the ICO and start requesting DSAR's from Vodafone as you are not handling customer data correctly under the rules set out under GDPR

Of course your entitled to take a course of action that suites you however I would suggest the Vodafone Social Media Team's first who should be able to help.
I wish you all the best with this.

Hi @pcg33k
If you mean the account is still showing on your credit report after being deleted, according to Experian closed accounts have to remain active on a credit report for up to 10 years. As this was a positive account this may show longer and will improve your credit score. This report should also show as 0.00. Please see this information from Experian, you may also be able to find additional information from the CRA's.
