Vodafone cannot issue me an ESIM. Been without service for 2 full days now.

So yesterday I got home and noticed my SIM card started saying no service and "SIM FAILURE". This is on my iPhone 14 pro.

I went on live chat yesterday as soon as this happened and they said that I should move to ESIM as it would be easier to do. The guy put in 2 orders instead of one and it has messed everything up.

 

I tried to scan the ESIM and my iPhone said that it was no valid. I went into the store and they said that they they messed up my account badly. I was in the store for three hours. The guy sent me away and said that he sent an ESIM to my email and it should show up within an hour.

 

I got home, scanned the code and surprise surprise it said that its not valid. I have been on live chat for hours (18 hours) and nobody can figure it out. Nobody can help me.

 

I have a flight at 2AM tomorrow and to print my boarding pass I need to get a one time passcode sent to my number which I can't as my number is not active. I am utterly disgusted at Vodafones service. How can I go about receiving compensation otherwise I will be contacting the ombudsman.

If you pop into your local store @fallen_leaf, our team will be able to provide you with a blank SIM and register it to your number. This should have you reconnected to the network within a couple of hours. If you're unable to nip into a store, pop us a message via our social channels and we'll be more than happy to look into getting you connected via an ESIM, or send a physical SIM to your home address.

The guy at the store told me that my situation was ridiculous and the Vodafone REP has seriously messed up my account. He managed to get all of the orders closed and issues me a new SIM card yesterday. Still no service. it's been over 24 hours now.

 

Is there any way I can terminate my contract early? I have had no service for 5 whole days now (coming onto the 6th day) and I am still paying. I do not want to pay the extortionate amount if Vodafone cannot even figure out how to get service to my phone.
