Vodafone have lost my mobile number

Hi,

I ordered a phone via mobiles.co.uk to join Vodafone and provided a PAC code to transfer over my old number as I was previously with Three.

It appears that there was an error from Vodafone's side during the order which has resulted in me losing my number but three have told me that the pac code has been activated, so they cant provide me with another pac code to transfer the number. Currently Vodafone have provided me with a temporary number.

Ive spoken to Vodafone multiple times on the phone for hours - all of the advisers were helpful but im still stuck with a temporary number. The last communication I had was that there was an error with the Esim so they are sending me over a physical sim which they said 'should' have my old number on it. I want confirmation that this will be my old number as ive had the number for a very long time and its a massive pain for me to change numbers on everything, especially when I did everything I was supposed to and the error is on Vodafone's end.

Can i have some advice and assurance that my old number isnt lost and will be on the new sim? its been an incredibly frustrating process, all i want is my old number to be on the new phone.
