Vodafone late payment

Hi, please can you help me? I have a late payment to my Vodafone Gemimi account from Aug 17 that is showing on my credit history. I was previously with Vodafone but left in June 17 and I didn't have a Gemini account. Someone else registered with Vodafone with my name but used an address in London. I received bills from Vodafone and a debt collection agency and each time I contacted them and told them it wasn't me. I was assured these would be cancelled, which they were eventually and no default notice would be put on my credit score. I have not had an issue since until 2 weeks ago when I applied for credit and was refused. I obtained my Equifax report and was dismayed to see the late payment notice and the address in London as a linked address. I have raised the address issue with Equifax and applied for a correction notice but please can you assist with the late payment notice?

Vodafone have sorted this out for me perfectly. Removed their four late payment entries and notified the credit agencies to remove the linked address that they entered in error. Importantly they admitted that this was their error. I'm annoyed they did this in the first place as it affected my credit score but I'm pleased they have rectified things now.
