Want to upgrade but number not showing

Hi

Not really too sure which forum to put this but I'll start here.

I would like to upgrade my daughters phone, when I go into my Vodafone, her number is not showing because I think it was ported across from O2. When I try to access the number that it 'was' it sends a code to that number which I need to enter which I cannot because that is not the number.

Is there a way to sort this out?
