What happens if Trade In is declined after sending it?

I’m considering trading in my current phone for money toward my airtime plan on a new phone. I’ve answered the questions truthfully but what happens if I send it in and they decline to accept it anyway? Am I still bound by whatever plan I chose but paying the full price instead without a trade-in deal?

If you scroll down to para 13 Trade -in Device Rejected, you will see the circumstances where the device would be rejected  If this happens your Trade-In device will be sent back to you and your chosen trade-in option will be removed or will not be paid. Unless you have breached any conditions the device shouldn't be rejected. 

Vodafone give 14 days to cancel after receiving the new device and airtime plan.
