A long time ago my app started playing up and I could do nothing with my app or account it said I was not the owner .. About a year ago my contract ended and I was working away in the Netherlands and many other things were going on in my life I totally forgot about it .. I tried a few times to start a new contract but the app and website wouldn't let me.. Anyway this weekend I've tried many times to get this sorted and it now works ..

I've been with Vodafone for many many years and had no problems and I have always paid my bills and had no issues .. But I when I asked the online chat if I could get a discount or something because I've been paying over £100 per month for ages and I should have been paying around £30 per month and they said don't worry and upgrade to a new contract and all is sorted..

Am I barking up the wrong tree ?

I had a nightmare with my log in which went on for months and I Couldn't do anything because it said I was not the owner.. Ended up talking to one of the support team and they reset all my details and I had to set up with new username and password.. Now it works

If you believe you've been over charged for your service then yes speak with a senior Vodafone agent to ask for this to be escalated for investigation @gazchurch 

Or or fill out the Complaints/Code-of-Practice Form.
