Locked phones from networks are now a thing of the past - finally!! Ofcom has banned the practice from December 2021. It's never made sense to me and causes no end of problems as users try to get access to their own property. Other networks stopped locking phones voluntarily a while ago and it's a shame that Vodafone hasn't followed suit.
