Unlock my vodafone ipad air 2

Hi, I have an Apple Ipad Air 2 Cellular that I bought from Vodafone. I have recently 'upgraded' to a Samsung. I wish to reuse my iPad Air 2 as a back up with an alternative network on a payg (when Vodafone is not available).

I have tried the NUC form but it keeps saying the IMEI is invalid, but it is not. I have checked it on another site to make sure. Using the BOT and Phone I just get sent back to the form - which does not work.

It was all purchased on Vodafone and has been used frequently for the last few years, including in August whilst on holiday in Shropshire. It has been on a vodafone monthly contract.

Anybody got any clues as to what is going on as it is driving me nuts!
