Please help as I am going of my mind! All I want to so is unlock my phone. Been passed about from one person to the other. I have ended up having to pay £23 for a private company to do it. I have just upgraded with Vodafone again but after this circus it could be my last time.

Hi Tash
This issue has now been going on since 19th August, obviously I have been sold a dud phone that has not got an unlocking code because no body can find one, or nobody give a damn, I have calculated over the 2 years & have paid round £1400 to be left with a phone that is useless, I keep getting messages & phone calls from Vodafone saying this is unacceptable & I will look into it but end of the day I am still stuck with a phone that nobody can or will unlock

@Marco48 Please contact our social media team with your full name, mobile number and IMEI and they'll be able to search for any NUC we may have for you in the system, check your account for any notes from the team, and re-raise an NUC request on your behalf or query this with the NUC team directly if you haven't already 🙂

Sorry to hear we're on the same vodafone NUC carousel, I've filled the form/s in, spoken to "advisors", used the email address given to me by vodafone...........the only answer I ever get, "you need to wait a bit longer" "you need to be patient" They say it may take 10 days but usually only 72 hours............17 days and counting here.
I won't go off topic, but this episode is on the back of trying to sort out an issue from November 2019......10 months on and it still isn't.
If you're reading this before joining vodafone, don't, for your sanity, just don't. If you're reading this as yet another customer stitched up and let down, I feel your pain, don't bother engaging, don't listen to yet another apology, just find a way of leaving as soon as possible, it won't get better, they won't provide you with a decent service, they won't give you any answers, just go, chalk it up to experience and stop giving them your money.
Please, if you're reading

It's really disappointing to hear you feel this way @Marco48, we wouldn't want this for any of our customers.
We want to turn this around for you, I would advise we check your account for any access from the NUC team. For us to do this please drop us a message on social media. Make sure to add a link to this thread and the info asked for above by @Beth. We can also look into payment/bill issues at that time.
@Donein - I'm sorry to hear you're having the same issues with your NUC code. I would advise the same, to drop us a message on social media and we can get this looked into right away.

I don't use social media.
"72 hours, up to 10 days" just fill in the form for your NUC.
DAY 19........nothing

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing a delay receiving your NUC @Donein. If we have to contact your phone manufacturer to request your NUC (and it sounds like this has been the case), it usually takes up to 10 Working days for them to provide this. In the current climate, many manufacturers are experiencing a delay responding to these requests and it's now taking up to 21 Working Days for this to be provided. Once this has been raised, we ask you wait the full 21 Working Days before escalating this, but if you'd like us to look into this for you, I've replied to your other post with alternative contact details.
