Hi,
i recently joined Vodafone and everything has been great apart from one thing. 4G Calling works about 90% of the time however I've noticed about once a day when I make a call it drops to Edge or Gprs, the only way for me to fix this is to enable Airplane mode and disable it and then 4G calling starts working again, has anyone ever experienced this?
Thanks!

Hello, @bdg3235. I hope you're well.
Enabling and disabling airplane mode is a quick way of doing a manual roam, which would refresh your connection to your local mast site. Therefore, it sounds like the signal is dropping due to it not refreshing automatically. It may also be that they're peak times where the masts are more congested, which results in a dip in signal, and so by completing a manual roam you're refreshing it.
If you reach out to us on Social Media, we can take a look on our side at how your SIM is connecting to the network and when it's last refreshed, as a healthy connection should have a refresh rate of about 2 hours maximum.

Network congestion does not cause a degradation in signal strength on 2G, 4G or 5G techs, nor does a disconnect/reconnect affect that.
