Apple Watch Ultra 2 won’t connect

I bought a new Apple Watch Ultra 2. I phoned Vodafone who added it to my account.

12 hours later and it is still not added. The watch says “no esim “ and the phone app when I try to connect says

The connection transfer to this device is still in progress. Please check your device connection later”

can someone help please

I have the same issue and being told wait 24 hours 4 times now... its pathetic

It works now. I contacted Vodafone and they said to wait overnight. And it did work in the morning. It could be because the holiday season has a lot of registrations , so the systems are slow
