Can't send message with Vodafone - error 0

I have an intermittent issue of being unable to send texts or make calls on my Galaxy S23 Ultra. When trying to send a text I get the message 'Can't send message with Vodafone - error 0'. Calls just end immediately. I have tried speaking to Vodafone but after an hour with one of their support staff, nothing was resolved. I went into the local store and did a SIM swap at the weekend and all was fine from then until last night, when the same issue re-occurred.

I don't have any bars on my account and I pay monthly.  I have cleared message cache and done everything I have managed to find suggested on web searches.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Yes there are multiple users with the same issue with galaxy phones.

You are not alone. I had exactly the same issue one day last week and it's happening again today. People are texting me but i cannot reply or ring them. Rebooting does not solve it. Surely must be a network issue?

I dont have a solution but I have the same issue with an S23+. I have been working with vodafone for 2 days and they tell me they are getting alot of this issue with galaxy phones. It has been escalated to their engineers to find a solution.
