Confused about roaming

Hi

If I want to be able to roam, do I turn the 'Receiving calls and texts while you're outside the UK' on or off here?  This is in controls, not bars, and I get that I can use it to 'Stop your phone from receiving calls and texts while you're outside the UK' but do I do that by turning the ability to receive calls on or off?

If its on that means the bar is enabled and you will NOT be able to receive calls and texts while abroad

If it's off that means the bar is disabled and you will be able to to receive calls and texts while abroad

So you need to keep it off as it off to receive the calls and texts while abroad
