Although I have wifi calling on my plan, it doesn't appear in the options on my Samsung Galaxy A22 5G. Do I have to do anything to make it available?

The phone is not on the list of supported devices here: Data Calling @raymartin52 . It definitely supports the feature and there is no reason for it not working. I am wondering if Vodafone have not updated the list of supported devices.
There have been some previous threads on the forum where data calling is successfully working on the S22 and the forum search facility should bring these up.

Sorry @raymartin52 I was looking at the list at the top.
It sounds like you need the configuration settings sent to your phone, if you use live chat they should be able to send you the file.

Try their EMEI checker to see if they will support your phone.

It seems they are choosing not to support a lot of phones if you didn't buy it from them!!!
This needs to go to consumer standards to get their decision reversed.
