I have been receiving a notification, stating " Couldn't install system update " Tap to learn more. The next screen states " Couldn't update. Verification problem. Good news ! There is an important software update available. Please install for enhanced security. Update size : 90.51 MB Try again. Once the download has completed, the above message appears again along with the Restart now message.Upon hitting Restart now,the install gets to 25:% then a error! message appears. The same messages and outcome keeps repeating.
Any help in resolving this problem, would very much be appreciated.

I've just tried to update again ... and it worked. Same on my wife's phone. It was a bit slow and took ten minutes to do but all good. I know Admins have been working behind the scenes and it seems they've done the trick. Thanks to all concerned.

As far as I can see, Vodafone aren't selling own-branded devices any more, so the option of re-purchasing wouldn't apply.
Most devices only get updates for a couple of years, though some are longer, especially now as longer product life is becoming a selling point. I doubt the N10 would be getting updates now anyway, although why the update you have won't install, I don't know

HI, @Peterpoos !
I've just bought a Vodafone Smart N10. Finally thought I'd treat myself to a shiny new phone! Unfortunately I did that before I read this thread on the forum. Doh! 🙈 I hope you don't mind me asking if you ever got a proper resolution to this problem? Your experience may still be of use to me, if my new N10 tells me it needs to update, i.e. should I ignore the update request or install it, on the assumption I encounter the same situation that is.
At least, having read through this thread, I know there is a potential problem and don't find that out after unboxing it and setting it up. That kind of thing happened to me as a kid. Got a new locomotive for my train set. It did four laps of my layout and then broke down. My mum couldn't afford bus tickets for me, her and my little brother so I had to go on the bus myself, to the model shop and back, It was only four miles each way on the bus but pretty terrifying for a 10-year old. The lady in the model shop wouldn't give me a new locomotive, she just took the defective one and then I had to go back, luckily with my dad, two weeks later on a Saturday and collect it after it had been repaired. That experience has given me a fear of that same thing happening to anything new that I buy 😳
Any information or update you can give will be much appreciated. Thank you! 😊🙏

Hi Racal. Thank you for your message. To be honest with you I did not get a solution to the problem with the N10 so I bought myself another phone on similar lines. With the help of my daughter I now have the Galaxy A33 5G. I am not tech minded so it is good enough for me. I do hope you make the right choice going forward. I am in the process of moving so I can't guarantee I will be able to reply or acknowledge any future messages from you😐

I did try that, but the same error occurred.
