Hi,
just received my brand new Galaxy s20 from vodafone. The device has a pre-fitted screen protector with small amounts of wear on the screen. Why should a new phone out of the box have this - not experienced this before. Any ideas?
thanks

Simply it shouldn't be the case @sprotts
Yes it's a pre fitted screen tpu screen protector that will possibly need changing at some point but it should be pristine out of the box.
Poor quality control from Samsung.
I assume the seals on the box were intact ?
When I bought my Samsung Note 10+ 5G from the local Samsung Experience Store it had a screen protector pre applied that had a noticeable scratch on it.
Even tho I at some point was changing the protector for a Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector I expected it to be pristine so I had them swap it out.
After all something must have happened to create the scratch.
Now its up to you what you want to do.
You have 14 days to swap it out.
