12 Month Contract

Has Vodafone stopped 12 month contracts?

i wanted to get the new s8 on a 12 month deal but can’t see 12 month contracts anymore on the site.

Hate to say it but I completely agree. The simple fact is Vodafone makes less money on a 12 month contract and that is why they have binned them. I have always had a 12 month contract on a low plan. I have upgraded to a new iPhone x on a 24 month plan but will be my last. I think they will lose a lot of customers from this. Although most networks don’t now offer a 12 month plan so I guess they are just following the trend.

This will be the first time in about 17 years I have not got my phone from Vodafone, gone for a sim free option for 12 months and then bought the phone outright from Apple. Will probably switch from Vodafone completely next year as the places I normally need network coverage EE seem to offer better and faster coverage, it’s only really my work discount keeping me tied to Vodafone.
