Apple Time Capsule

Can anyone advise me how to set up an Apple Time Capsule to extend the wifi range of my Vodafone Connect home broadband router. My new Vodafone router has proved to have many weakness* and Vodafone Technical Support are not prepared to offer advise.

*difficulty in setting up Sonos, uable to use router in Modem mode only, 5 GHz problems, relentless compatibility issues with Apple networking products.

If I recall correctly there are a couple of past threads in the community forum on that subject. If you perform a search they should pop up.

The Time Capsule doesn't extend the Wi fi range of the host router. It replaces it. You'll need to turn Wi Fi off on the Vodafone router and just use it as a modem.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my BT Broadband connection.
