Bad Customer Service

Have had a very bad experience for the past 6 days with Vodafone customer service and my issue is still not resolved. Fed up now. Spoken to more than 15 people on live chat and phone all giving different information and promising things that have not happened. Vodafone love the sentence "wait 24 hours" or "wait 24-48 hours". Looks to me like their service is all scripted. The more this goes on the more people I tell not to join Vodafone. Have also raised many complaints and I doubt they will be looked into as I was told no feedback will be provided and they will be doing an internal investigation. I see Vodafone got fined by ofcom 2 months ago however nothing has changed since.

I agree with you 100% and will myself be taking my personal case back to Ofcom. If Ofcom think their fine has resolved the issues they are wrong and need to know about it.  I am done with Vodaphone now !

Something I firmly believe in and say is "Things can sometimes go wrong which I'm sure many accept, but then it's ultimately down to how it's put right that then counts ,and instills confidence back into the product and service. Communication is Key. "

 

 

The forum is owned and also monitored by Vodafone U.K. We have members of the Vodafone Tech Team who are available to respond and Help where they can. They have the Vodafone logo next to their name so you know they are officially from Vodafone.

Sorry buddy but I think I have given them enough chances over the past six days.

I work in customer service too. We give a approximate time to resolve issues but we actually call customers or email to make sure their issue is resolved and they are happy. Something Vodafone need to learn. As you said communication is key and I believe this type of communication goes a long way.

I think talking to 15 different people and each of them giving me promises which have not been kept is giving a lot of chances in my opinion. Not sure about you.

I pride myself and my company for going that extra mile. Something Vodafone cannot do. A big company like this should be ashamed of themselves.

You never mentioned what your issue is? If you post details about your issue, someone will be able advise on how to get it resolved.

Account related issue so only something Vodafone can deal with. If it was hardware or software related I would have fixed it myself.

There is actually an article in the daily mail from 10th December which is a little similar my issue. Maybe I should speak to them. They seem to have a better response than I am.

I actually agree with Jorassic suggests. Ofcom have fined Vodafone for their bad customer service so I think I need to go back to them to make them aware of issues I am currently facing with the Customer Service. Think I also need to be more proactive in this forum and encourage anyone else to do the same who has received bad information or issues which have not been resolved. It is not about putting Vodafone in a bad spot but making Ofcom aware so they can check whether their fine has actually helped in changing the way Vodafone operate.
