Once again Vodafone have messed up my billing and cant resolve it after numerous calls and chats.
I recently went to close my account with vodafone but was talked into keeping a sim only contract for 12 months as they included a 40% discount and an extra 2gb of data free. This meant i was only paying £13.96 for my sim only contract, all was well for the first month or two until i get a text message saying vodafone has removed the discount. So i check my account and the bill has gone back up to £20. The gentlemen that sold me the sim only deal assured me it was a discount for the lifetime of the contract.
I then proceeded to call another operator to tell them the situation, he assured me he had re-instated the 40% discount on the account ....guess what ....he lied. So i tried again today through the online chat, only to be told that the operators wont speak to me as they have put fraud notes on my account!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON VODAFONE!
I am now unable to speak to anybody as the fraud team simply dont answer the phone.
If my problem is not resolved today, i will be going to the ombudsman with all the texts showing my discounts, the chat transcripts etc and i will be closing my account along with every member of my family.
this is around the 4th major problem i have had in the space of a year with Vodafone. The company is a absolute joke!
