Hi All,
I recently received the BB Q5 but seem to be having issues with the emails. I'm not sure if it's a vodafone issue or hotmail/yahoo issue?
But they are not getting sent through like usual and when they do, they disappear...
I tried a factory reset and added the accounts again but no luck.
Can someone please help?
Thanks

Hi there sidney18,
Thanks for posting.
Can you describe exactly what happens when you add the email accounts?
Does the email account stay on the phone but all emails don't get pushed through?
Do the emails get pushed through but are immediately deleted?
I've had a look around the BlackBerry forums and can't find the issue anywhere.
If they're deleted straight away, is there a setting you can change within the email account under advanced?
Cheers,
LeeH

Thanks for your response Lee.
I've managed to sort it, it was an issue with having too many emails already in my hotmail account. So I did a massive delete and clean up, then re added the account and it's been working fine.
Thanks.

Similar problem with BB Q5, i can send e mail but don't receive anymore e mails. All works fine on my I mac computer, so e mail is working but not on the BB Q5. Can BB have to many e mails ?I reset my e mail account on BB and then some came through , but it takes damn long. AlsoSending is no problem. Is this a issue with the Q5 , as i had many different BB before and never faced this problem ???
Any idea ?

Hi Buddha007,
I’ve not seen an issue where too many emails stops them being received.
If a reset of your email account works, it does suggest there’s an issue with the phone itself.
Check to make sure you’re on the latest firmware for your phone.
You can see how to do this here.
If this doesn’t work, try a factory reset of your phone.
The above link shows you the process to follow.
Don’t forget to back up any important data first.
Cheers,
Andy
