Blackberry services not working

My bbm and internet services are not working after having my number brought over from another network

any no how to get them working??

Dear emxx angel,

I would check with Vodafone that you have BlackBerry added to your tariff (I am making the assumption that you are able to make and receive calls and text).

Give them a call on 191, or wait for a mod to post on here.

i have always been a vodafone customer and never had no problems until now i have had a bb update about 2-3 months ago and i have contacted vodafone about sending my service book entries and they have said that they have sent them out but i still cannot get access to my internet. i feel like they have lied to me because of past fone calls can someone help me or i am switching network and i dont want to do that because i enjoy using vodafone. my fone is a blackberry 8100.

Thanks for posting, I can definitely understand your concern here.

 

Is your issue just that you can't access the internet? Or are you having problems sending/receiving emails too? Also, is GPRS in upper or lower case at the top right of the screen?

 

As a first step, I'd recommend re-requesting your service books by performing a Host Routing Table as follows:

 

 

  • Press the Blackberry Key
  • Press Options/Settings
  • Press Advanced
  • Press Host Routing Table
  • Press the Blackberry Key
  • Press Register Now
You should then receive a registration message shortly after. If that doesn't make any difference, or you don't receive the registration message, then it's worth forcing a network update on your SIM. This can be done by manually selecting a network other than Vodafone, and then re-selecting Vodafone. Details of how to do this can be found on our Blackberry 8100 Help page, just select the Network section.
Give those suggestions a go and let me know if you have any further issues. Please be sure to include any error messages that you see.

i'm having de same problem..for christ seek both vodafone customer service nd i had done watever we suppose to do but still my bbm service not working..i receive calls and txt nd also do so but cannot get the service..i brought my number too..i've the latest torch 9860 nd the 3G is dere as well as the bb icon but still nofin!!

Thank you for your post, I am sorry to learn of the difficulties you have been facing.

 

It has been well document regarding the issues with BlackBerry Services, this has been resolved now as far as we are aware.

 

If yoiu are still experiencing difficulties it may be that it has not been provisioned correctly on your account, in order for me to take a look please complete and reply to the email I have sent, this has been sent to the address you registered with on here.

 

Once we have this information we will be able to take a look at your account.

hi, i have recently bought a blackberry, and after opting for the service (£5 BIS) it is still not working! i spoke to some1 at customer services and they said it was all sorted and that i woud recieve a txt confirming this, and that i shud reset my phone after recieving the txt, however i have still not recieved this message and my BIS is still not active, even though i have paid

Has the bundle been applied for you now? There was a slight delay on the network over the weekend that could have affected you, but you should be fine now.

Have contacted Vodafone today and have received a text to say im connected to the Bberry wireless network - bbm, emails or internet services are not working>???  what now?
