Do you have the Blackberry Internet Service active on your account. You need that to be able to access the internet. Does it say 3g or 3G? edge or EDGE ?

Lower case means no BIS.

Are you on Pay as you go or Pay Monthly?

If you’re on pay as you go, you can add BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) by calling 40035 from your phone.

BIS costs an additional £5 per month, so make sure you have enough credit to cover this.
