Vodafone are not letting me cancel my price plan and a phone thats I have not received and is out of stock.
Even though on the phone I was told I could cancel within 14 days of the "Call".
Tried and now I can't until I receive the phone. That's October.....
😕

Well that's a plain breach of the Distance Selling Regulations.
Delivery of the handset (or lack thereof) should not affect your ability to cancel the contract (so long as you return the phone if/when it is delivered, if it has already been dispatched).

I agree, and in fact they haven't fulfilled their obligation yet started charging. But Vodafone just doesn't care. I just spoke to the returns department and Scot at Business Returns clearly told me there is nothing I can do nor he can do. I should just wait patiently, the phone will arrive sometime in the next 8 weeks, then I can call up to have it collected and returned and once received and in good order they'll cancel it. And only then I can have my PAC free of charge...
Unbelievable how such a large company flaunt so many rules, not only that I would have thought it is cheaper for them not to send it out and then pick it up and get it back again....It doesn't make any logical sense.
