Joined VF a few years ago because they were the only company that had a 'solution' to the poor phone signals where I live. We had to pay either £50 or £100 for a SS box(can't remember the cost) and later took out 2 more contracts for family members.
All seemed good at first but soon noticed that the SS box would randomly stop working with various combinations of orange and white lights. Many phone calls to tech and god knows how many resets, speed tests, pings, pongs and whatever else have been done over the years this unit has always been unreliable and frustrating to get get working as it should.
Finally, the unit died completely and we had to take out a new phone contract to get a replacement FOC (well not really free, a 12 month contract!)
In the meantime I found a useful posting on how to get the dead one working again
an easy fix, Thanks hamidmustafa.
Anyway, this was the final staw for me so I've now gone to EE with wifi calling and excellent 3 & 4G signal out and about unlike my previous phone supplier. All we need to do now is wait for the wifes contract to end, cancel the recent new contract and move them also.
I know it's not the ultimate solution as I'm sure BT will ruin EE but it can not be any more frustrating and time consuming than trying to live with the SS box.
So Long and good luck trying to get the ever flashing random lights on your SS box working.
Vote with your feet.

It's time Vodafone played fair and opened up Wi-Fi calling to all of us and stop this hideousness with this piece of over priced and unreliable junk.
Wi-Fi calling has been available on Samsung and other for a very long time, yet Vodafone feel it is a way to cash in on forcing users to upgrade in order to improve their service to us.
TOTAL JOKE!!

Not withstanding the problems that get reported here, I've been using a Sure Signal of one version or another for years. I've never had a problem and found them to be very reliable and far from junk. I'm pretty sure that my experience is the in line with the vast majority of Sure Signal owners.
If you expect your campaign to be a success you need to stick to facts and stay away from rhetoric.

Version 3 is junk... in fact a completely unnecessary piece of junk..
in that:
1) Wi-Fi calling enabled - you and I would not actually need one
2) SureSignal is a cost to bear in order for Vodafone to provide me with a signal !!
3) it is burning electricity 24 hours a day that need't be necessary
IF ONLY VODAFONE ENABLED WI-FI CALLING AS DEFAULT and not do so in return for lining their pockets..
I think this is the next idea for a campaign..
Poor design and likely to explode taking out the mains supply without any warning.
Version 2 I have has been perfect for years and still is.. The campaign is going very well as we'll all find out very shortly..

And there's the problem - you think you're a campaigner rather than protecting people from a specific issue and your campaign is now moving into wider areas such as the availabilty of Wi Fi. You will distract from your original and worthwhile advice. Just my view though.

I won't dignify your silly comments about my motives with any kind of response.
Of course I've never tried to stop you posting but I do see your efforts moving from righting specific wrongs to a more general rant about lies, deceipt etc. That's the kind of stuff and nonsense I personally have no time for as it isn't true and it detracts from the good work you do.
