I had an engineer install a second phone line on 01/02/17, and yesterday the internet on router became green so i assume they turned on fibre. But the problem is im unable to connect to the internet even thought it is a steady green light on both wifi and internet.
I have looked into the router settings and it clearly shows it has the connectivity etc. Changing the passwords didnt do anything to help me get onto the internet either.
I have tried changing the signal away from 5ghz but to no avail.
Any light on this situation would be appreciated
P.s. I assume im in the right discussion for this issue?

Hi
If any type of reset or using another ethernet cable or changing wireless channel won't work and you can't connect with any device then I'd suggest to give the Broadband Team a call just to have things checked at their end too.

After connecting to vodafone customer service i finally managed to get it working, by trial and error. The employee was as baffled as i was until i tried to connect with a 3rd device (my dads ipad). There is meant to be a vodafone router setup on the first device that connects to router but it didnt occur for me or my sisters devices, but it did with my dads ipad.
It doesnt help it does not mention this setup via first device on the installation guide with the router else i would have figured the problem without having to call.
Just thought i would put the solution to my problems in case other people have the same issue

So did you manage to get the other two previously attempted devices to connect after setting up the hub using your dad's iPad?

I am having the same problem. The internet was connected to my new house yesterday, but I am not getting a Router setup message. I did though at the beginning of the year, when I originally moved my internet to Vodafone at my old house. I was sent a new router with my new contract. I have tried connecting my PC, iPad, Samsung s8 and laptop, but none of them connect. The internet light is solid green and it shows as active when I access the router controls. How to I fix this, please?

@Samb77 Sorry to hear you're having issues getting up and running 😞
You can find lots of helpful information on setting up your router here and also, how to establish a connection to your router's web interface here.
If you're still having problems, I would advise contacting our Broadband Live Chat team who'll be happy to help you out.
Please keep us updated and let us know how you get on.
