Hello, I'm hoping Customer Services read this. I have requested proof of purchase through the online form. Eventually after about 4 days I received proof of usage buit not proof of purchase. The email said I should go to wherever the phone was purchased to get the proof of purchase.
The thing is, the phone was purchased online with Vodafone themselves. I have replied to the email but it takes so long to reply and I'm concerned that if I wait for a reply, it will just say the same thing.
I really need to get this sorted ASAP as my insurance company require the proof of purchase to complete the repair of the phone.

Still not contact from Vodafone since 6th October despite repeated emails to them. I have now sent off an official complaint, and even that says it will take 48 hours to contact me
Vodafone are the worst company ever for customer service.
In my household we have had EE, Tesco Mobile, Orange, BT Mobile and O2 and never had problems with customer service from any of them.

Yes that's it. I have had a reply from them, giving me proof of usage but not proof of purchase. They seemed to be implying that the phone was not bought from them so they couldnt issue proof of purchase. I replied telling them that the phone was bought online directly with Vodafone and 5 days later despite sending other emails, I've heard nothing.
Very frustrating.

Then yes if Vodafone directly supplied the phone I also cannot see a reason why proof of purchase cannot be supplied.
May I ask what way you've lodged your complaint?

So, after a wait of 3 days I get the standard reply below, absolutely no explanation as to why they cant give me a proof of purchase. Unbelievably the worst customer service ever

For proof of purchase, you can use the receipt you were given when you bought your device.

No problem – if you bought your device from one of our stores, head to your nearest one where a member of the team should be able to reprint it for you. If not, the retailer you bought your device from may be able to help.
