I've ended my pay monthly account with Vodafone a year ago, recently I checked my credit score history and although I have no late payments and the status is OK, it still shows up as if my account was open, and the problem with this is that it shows an old address. How can I get it properly closed from Vodafone so it no longer shows on my credit score.

@hbschiller I can see that it showing as open can cause you a problem.

 

Go ahead and talk to the Credit file Support Team and ask them to show the account as closed, once they do that it will be reflected within 28 days on an credit agency listings.

@hbschiller If you ignore the prompts when asked for your number after the third or fourth prompt the system should divert you to a member of the human race.

Just to end this topic in case someone come accross it in future, yes the credit file support team was able to find where in the system my account was still "open", they closed it and after 30 days it should reflect on my credit history.
