Hi @Missessem

If you are having financial difficulties and are unable to pay your bill, you need to contact Vodafone as soon as possible.  You should be able to make arrangements for an affordable six month payment plan to give you some time to get your finances in order.

Please be aware that any payment plan will be reported against your credit file and will impact on your ability to get credit.

There is further information for you below.

What should I do if I can’t pay my bill?

An alternative is to sell the phone, get what you can and put the money towards paying off the contract.  You could also consider a change of contract ownership to a trustworthy friend or family.  If this is an option, there is further information below.

Hi @Missessem

It must be an awful situation to be in.

I would suggest you also speak to family as not to bottle this all in, and there are free debt help organisations you can speak to. They may want to help you. Something I did myself in my earlier days and for me helped greatly.

Yes you can talk to Vodafone but as mentioned if you agree a payment plan this can impact on your credit file.

You could sell the phone and other items to generate some funds to pay against the contract and acquire an interim replacement  phone from family , friends that's sat in a drawer or a cheap used phone that'll accept your SIM card.

I wish you all the best with this.
