Hello,
I know people have posted about this before but I was wondering if anyone could provide some up-to-date advice.
I've just tried to take out Fibre Broadband with Vodafone via their website, but it couldn't be processed as I failed their credit checks. I have a really good credit rating, as does my husband - who also tried to get the broadband but failed for the same reason.
This has happened before when my husband tried to get a mobile with Vodafone. Carphone Warehouse (who he originally went to) and Vodafone have told him that this it's the credit check company's issue, which seems strange given our good credit ratings. It must be something to do with our address - but we live in a new build and have been the only occupants, so not "tainted" by previous occupants' bad credit ratings or anything like that.
Has anyone managed to get around this issue and successfully get broadband (or another product/service) with Vodafone?

Vodafone wouldnt be able to discuss the reasons why they havent accepted your application.
What I've found over time is that even a good score does not guarantee acceptance.
Depending on which credit house theyve used thry use their own scoring system.
Please do double check your Credit File with Experian and its advised to leave at least 90 days between each application to allow your score to recover.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, we'll be waiting 90 days; given this has happened before and we've checked our Credit File (and all was fine), it seems the same thing - whatever it is - has happened again
I understand details can't be given out by Vodafone. My core question, though, is has anyone who has faced the same issue been able to get a service from Vodafone successfully and, if so, how? Or, are we doomed never to be able to get anything from Vodafone because of this mysterious discrepancy?

I also applied online for Vodafone 38 fibre and failed the credit check. Having a excellent credit score join there chat to ask why given this number 08080034515 told contact them. The girl contacted there internal credit department who passed me result go, live date 29 March
