anyone had a massive bill from data charges on IPad ?

Hi

 

I'd suggest havinglook at My Vodafone online.

 

This will tell you when the data was used and how much was used.

 

Things like streaming lots of music or video will use large amounts of data. So can updating apps if you're not connected to WiFi.
