Default on Credit File

Hi Forum, First Post!

I had a bit of a nightmare with Vodafone so moved over to O2. Few things were 'accidentally' put onto my account whilst I was a customer.

I have had a call today with the vodafone team after looking on my credit file and finding a £1000 default fee. This is really affecting my credit rating. I need to get this removed.

There is absolutely no record of a bill. And the guy on the phone said they wouldn't have closed the account with anything outstanding.

I do not have a vodafone bill with my account number to be able to call up. I have been into store and have been told there is nothing they can do?

So my question is how do I get this resolved as it is really affecting my mortgage applications!

Not happy!
