Dell Mini 9 Contract Sim In Vodafone Dongle?

Is it possible to use the Vodafone Dell mini 9 mobile BB sim in a Vodafone dongle, for use on another laptop?

If so can you buy or request a Vodafone dongle without a sim for using as above?
