Does the Sure Signal service need an app, or will it work with a 3G dumb-phone too?

I tried searching but got nothing conclusive.  I just want to check before buying one that it's intended to work with any 3G phone.  Can anyone advise?  Thanks.

Any 3G compatible phone will work with the Sure Signal, there is no need for an app of any sort
