Galaxy S8+ preorder

Hi peeps, I have S8 on a preorder and was wondering how good Vodafone actually is with fullfilling preorders. Promise of "get it 8 days early"(I know it's just a marketing spin) means it should be here on the 20th. Who else is waiting for a delivery?

Right, after a short (and unpleasant) conversation with and agent I've been assured my phone will be despatched today at midnight to be delivered thursday (sameday delivery? I'm not too keen to believe in this). When asked about problems with stock, she assured me there's enough handsets to fullfill preorders...go figure. Something dodgy going on here. People with orders from March are being told it won't be delivered on the 20th and I'm being told nothing has changed and I will definetly (not maybe but DEFINETLY) get my phone tomorrow (ordered it on the 7th)...

I have no idea what to believe, at this stage. I ordered on day #1 (29th March) and the only thing that's happened so far is the SIM swap thing today and I'm now on the new bundle. So on a new contract already. And if it's dispatched at midnight, there isn't a snowball's chance it's getting here tomorrow, especially not with DPD. Their service up here is atrocious.

Just an update to my previous post, decided to try with live chat team. Bloke told me they're facing issues with S8 stock but S8+ is ok, all orders are going out tonight BUT most won't get delivered until friday or monday due to the massive que. He provided me with a ref number to track my PDP parcel (in my ecperience sometimes it takes up to 24h before you can actually use it for anything). Very bad PR, I'm guessing agents know as much as we do and there might be only few who actually give a ##~## about customers to be honest enough and admit they're facing some difficulties...

I have been told mine is dispatched and given my tracking number. Online tracker says different. 

Not showing up on DPD however so who knows?

The status of my order changed to Despatched late last night - fantastic

However the DPD tracking link does not work - sad

My order number comes up as invalid on the vodafone "Track my Order".  Always happy when that happens!

  S8+ ordered on the 7th of April. It's still on stage 2, I'm giving it time until 4pm before reaching out to 191...

I have just held a web chat with them, denying all knowledge of any prerelease. 

He he said to me 'how can you have it if it isn't released' 

they have taken the money for it and are saying it's still an open order, it'll be here by the 28th. 

Absilutely useless vodafone. Fuming.
