Galaxy S8+ preorder

Hi peeps, I have S8 on a preorder and was wondering how good Vodafone actually is with fullfilling preorders. Promise of "get it 8 days early"(I know it's just a marketing spin) means it should be here on the 20th. Who else is waiting for a delivery?

My order is still on stage 2. Hoping it'll be updated soon. 

Ordered on April 3 so I should get mine tomorrow but we'll see..

Hi Dane,

i ordered my S8 (not the +) on launch day,,31st March, so going on your post I should be receiving it tomorrow... However, your order tracker still shows at stage 2 and the DPD reference provided by your livechat agent this morning is invalid?

When can we expect the order tracker to update and the correct DPD tracking reference to be provided?

Mine's a S8+ also ordered on launch day and I' still at stage 2

To Vodafones defence, they do a quick turnover with phones so everyone stuck on Stage 2, give it chance. 

I've ordered phones from 4pm and gotten the phone the next day so don't dismay. 

I think the stocking issues have some people flustered but as long as you ordered before April 12,you should be fine.

I have had my S8+ on pre order the moment the pre orders were opened, my order is still at stage 2 also, I spoke to a rep on Vodafone web page chat, they looked at my order and assured me I will have the phone in my hand tomorrow (Thursday) which I hope so as we are away on holiday from Friday

Despite having an email confirmation of my order placed on 30 March and a WEB order number, Vodafone have no record of my order and it hasn't been processed.   Managed to speak to someone earlier today who told me that the tariff I opted for doesn't actually exist even though I have email confirmation of this. 

They think they can sort it out and still deliver tomorrow but am waiting a call back.  Why is it so difficult with Vodafone. Tempted to go to Carphone Warehouse at lunch.

I've got the same problem. 

I was told at around 4pm by a Vodafone advisor after calling 191 that I would 'definitely' receive the phone tomorrow because I preordered it on the 8th. She told me orders taken in the last 7 days will not be delivered till the 28th. 

My order status is still at stage 2. I wasn't given a DPD number though.

I'm the same, sitting at stage 2, with no dpd number and being told will receive tomorrow. I'm not holding out much hope to be honest...

Live chat promised me delivery tomorrow with a DPD reference, which doesn't work on the DPD website. Their Twitter team have told me it won't be delivered until the 28th and their forum moderators insist it'll be tomorrow if ordered before 12th April (mine was 30th March)... so basically I have no idea whether we'll receive anything tomorrow!

Can someone from Vodafone please put a straight story out?!
