hi
there is a problem about my line. I asked you to set a cap on my monthly plan and you confirmed to me by phone that you have did.
then I got a bill of more than 200£.
I called you and you asked me when did you ask for the cap !
I was too furious and I stopped using the line.
after that I found a defulat in my credit file. I have just one year and three month in the UK and I even didn't know what defaults mean, before just three days from a friend !
anyway I would Like to remove this default even if I have to pay this unfair bill. so can you plz confirm me that when I pay this bill the whole outstanding balance that you will remove this fault from my file in the credit agencies ?
kind regards
Diaa

Hi @Diaa
The only thing Vodafone can cap is data. There is more about this on the link below.
As far as other monthly spend is concered, it has never been possible to put a cap on a monthly contract. and Customer Services should have given you this information. Vodafone encourage customers to manage their own accounts and provide the necessary tools to enable this to be done. You have your online account, the My Vodafone Application and the free 44555 text to receive a return text with your usage.
From what you have written, the account would have remained unpaid and you have put yourself in default of contract.
The best thing to do now is to contact Vodafone, pay what you can. If necessary, they will be able to arrange a 6 month payment place to clear the amount but please remember this will impact further on your credit file.
