Sure Signal have sent me a list of ports that need forwarding that i have configured correctly within my Vodafone router but they have also sent a list of IP address to be allowed on the Vodafone Router and Firewall but there are no instructions on how to do this.
Can anyone advise or provide and idiots guide on how to do this via the Vodafone Router settings page as i've been transferred to 7 different advisors and not one of them can assist given that it is Vodafone broadband (Their Broadband - I know, what a Joke).
I appreciate its probably something simple but not even Vodafone seem to know how to enter these.
The IP addresses that need allowed within the router are;
212.183.133.177-179
212.183.133.181-182
212.183.131.128-191

Mm - didn't think you need to setup anything on a standard router, register online, plug the box into router & mains & hey presto https://support.vodafone.co.uk/Vodafone-products-and-services/Sure-Signal/38911145/How-do-I-register...

Customer Relations have told me the ports need opened and the IP addresses bypassed through the firewall as 6 weeks ago I requested deadlock.
Needless to say say nobody in broadband has a clue how these are added

Hi - The IP addresses you've been quoted are outgoing (that's what you want to talk to) so unless you're using a firewall (independant of the VF router) which has been setup to stop you accessing those addresses they should by default be accessible through the VF router. Some routers do need port forwarding setup, but you say you've done that, this article has some info which may assist https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/Light-one-on-light-two-flashing/m-p/2391763#M35.... Have you tried registering & then connecting the unit & seeing what happens after a number of hours?
